Another very rare or potentially extinct variety of Peach-fronted Conure, birds with the Blue mutation are almost entirely blue except for white feathers on the crown and around the eyes, as well as grayish feathers across the throat and breast. Though nearly identical to Blue Half-moon Conures, a more developed variety, they have a fully dark gray/black bill and a larger crown patch by comparison.
According to A Guide to Colour Mutations & Genetics in Parrots, Blue Peach-fronted Conures were first found in the United States.
