Advanced Fallow is a rare recessive mutation that results in an almost fully yellow bird with varying shades of pinkish-red coloration on the crown, ears, belly, and tail. The flight feathers are whitish while the eyes are bright red. Though nearly invisible, Advanced Fallows still retain a small amount of melanin on their flight feathers, indicating that the variety is not synonymous with Lutino, as many believe. Other names for this mutation include Golden Fallow, Pink Fallow, or (incorrectly) NSL Lutino.
