One of four fallow mutations present in Maroon-bellied Conures, Dun Fallows have slightly paler green plumage and lighter blue flight feathers than the wild form. Pink or maroon coloring can be observed on the crown, ears, belly, and often across parts of the tail. As in most fallow Maroon-bellied Conures, the eyes are bright red while the bill and feet are horn-colored.
Though some keepers consider Bronze Fallow and Dun Fallow to be the same mutation, subtle differences in plumage and eye color separate them from one another. However, the average breeder may not be able to easily differentiate the two.
