The very first Par-blue Crimson-fronted Conure was taken from a nest in the wild, later being donated to the Del Istmo Conservation Center (Panama) for further development. They have a relatively basic appearance – being mostly blue with an orange crown and whitish wing edges. The variety is likely synonymous with Turquoise, where Psittacin pigments are reduced by70-80%. However, the natural strength of the crown’s pigments somewhat preserves its reddish color.
