A rare mutation that was discovered in Argentina and established in Europe, Lutino Nanday Conures are bright yellow with a red mask and thighs, a pink bill and feet, and whitish flight and tail feathers. The pupils are red while the rest of the eye is pink. It’s unclear if this variety has yet been combined with Blue to produce a completely white Albino.
Interestingly, this color variety reveals that Nanday Conure masks consist of both melanin and red pigment; pure black markings would reveal only white color in a Lutino.
