Cinnamon Sun Conures are an extremely rare variety with paler green and blue feathers than a wild-type. The coverts of the wings and the tail feathers are olive-green, the alula, flight feathers, and tail tip are periwinkle, the bill is grayish-brown, and the toes are pinkish.
Juveniles, much like adults, are golden-olive with patches of red-orange around the face and belly. The bill, toes, and flight feathers remain essentially unchanged from the adult form.
The prevalence of hybrids between Cinnamon Green-cheeked Conures and Sun Conures makes it unclear if this variety is pure. However, the lack of successful second generation hybrids between these two species indicates that it likely originated in Sun or Jenday Conures.
