Faded Nanday Conures are a rare color variety that can only be found in Australia. They have lighter green and blue body plumage, a rusty brown mask, silver-blue flight feathers, and a somewhat paler gray bill and toes. The tail is green with a light blue tip. As in all Faded mutants, the red plumage found on the thighs is unaffected.
Though similar in many ways to Pastel, Faded Nandays have a lighter overall color – particularly on the mask and flight feathers. Adding to the confusion, the variety is often called “Cinnamon”.
