Another rare mutation, Blue Sun Conures are pure white birds with azure-blue coverts and flight feathers that darken towards the tips. Given how their colors are essentially the opposite of wild-type Sun Conures, they are sometimes called “Moon Conures”. Unfortunately, birds of this variety tend to have weak immune systems and are poor breeders. Only time will tell if the current line of Blue Sun Conures can be meaningfully improved.
